FM423 / Main Street
Widening Project

Main Street, also known as FM423, is a highway that is owned, operated and maintained by Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).  Main Street is being widened to eight (8) lanes from the Sam Rayburn Tollway (SH121) north to Ridgepointe/Cougar Alley, and to six (6) lanes north to US 380.

 

Details & Construction Schedule

 

The Widening Project will affect Ridgepointe HOA in several ways, including:

  • The existing brick wall will be demolished and temporary wood fence constructed.
  • A permanent masonry (concrete) Sound Barrier Wall will be installed after road construction is finished.
  • The Ridgepointe Monuments will be returned to their existing locations when construction is complete.
  • New wood board-on-board fencing will connect the monuments to the new sound barrier wall
